Thank you for being a Light of Hope Teller Table Host!
We are thrilled to have you join us at our signature event, which raises both funds and awareness for abused and neglected children in the Pikes Peak Region. Your commitment to bringing friends, family members, neighbors, coworkers and more to the event are crucial in changing the lives of our most vulnerable population.
Hosting a table is free, and it is free for all of your guests to attend, due to generous Teller County corporate sponsors covering all the event expenses. This means that 100% of the proceeds will go to programs that help abused and neglected children in Teller County!
As a Table Host, we ask you to fill a table of 8, including yourself, with friends or colleagues who are interested in learning more about CASA and are willing to consider making a contribution to support the mission. We encourage you to reach out to a few extra guests, due to possible cancellations, to ensure a full table on the day of the event. If more than 8 guests register, we can accommodate them at a table adjacent to yours.

Light of Hope Teller Breakfast Fundraiser Event Details
When:
Wednesday, October 4, 2022, 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Doors open at 7am.
Where:
Ute Pass Cultural Center, 210 E Midland Ave, Woodland Park, CO 80863
- Guests will be in and out in one hour - 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
- Please encourage guests to arrive at 7 a.m. for parking and check-in.
- There is no cost to host a table or attend the event, so it is free for all attendees. All expenses have been covered by Teller County corporate sponsors.
- Near the end of the fundraising event, guests will have an opportunity to make a heartfelt donation to support CASA programs for abused and neglected children.
- 100% of your donation made at the event will go directly toward CASA’s programs in Teller County.
- Parking is free around the Ute Pass Cultural Center.
Table Host Information
Recruiting Guests for your Table
- Make a list of friends, family, and/or business associates who may have an interest in CASA’s mission.
- Try to overfill your table to ensure a full table on the day of the event due to possible cancellations. If more than six people show up, we will seat them at adjacent tables.
- Begin inviting guests using the sample script provided.
- Gather your guest's information, including full name, phone, email, and if your guest has any dietary restrictions.
- Transfer the collected information, including your overfill guests, into the online guest registration form at casappr.org/loht before September 27, 2023.
One Week Before (week of September 25th)
- Call each of your guests to remind them about the event and confirm event details.
- Encourage your guests to arrive at 7 a.m. for parking and check-in.
- If someone cannot attend, please try to refill their seat and let the CASA office know of the change.
Week of Event (week of October 3rd)
- If you have a cancellation and can fill the seat, ask the new attendee to give the non-attending person’s name or your name the day of the event.
- If you have a cancellation and are not able to fill the seat, please inform staff the day of the event.
Day of Event (Wednesday, October 4th)
- Arrive at 6:45 a.m., 15 minutes prior to registration opening, to pick up your Table Host packet at the Table Host Check-In table. Please let staff know at this time if any of your guests are not coming.
- Greet your guests at your table and record table attendance.
- If any guests had indicated special dietary requirements, their plate will be marked at your table.
- Encourage dialogue with your guests about CASA, if they have been involved before, etc.
- Please wait for instructions near the end of the program to hand out pledge cards. The speaker will let you know when to pass out the pledge cards, envelopes, and pens from your packet.
- Place your pledge card and your guest's completed pledge cards in the envelope in your packet.
- Return your packet to the volunteers standing at the door as you leave.
One Week after the Event
- Personally call all your guests and thank them for supporting CASA!

I hope you are having a great day! I’m excited to share with you that I am hosting a breakfast table for CASA of the Pikes Peak Region’s 5th Annual Light of Hope Teller Fundraiser on Wednesday, October 4th, at Ute Pass Cultural Center and would like for you to attend as my guest.
This is a sponsored, one-hour fundraising breakfast benefiting CASA, an organization that is dear to me because they serve our most vulnerable population: abused and neglected children in our community. CASA will share a story about how their work changes lives for the better and you will have an opportunity to make a gift in support of their mission. 100% of all of the proceeds will stay right here in Teller County.
