Thank you for being a Light of Hope North Table Host!
We are thrilled to have you join us at our signature event, which raises both funds and awareness for abused and neglected children in the Pikes Peak Region. Your commitment to bringing friends, family members, neighbors, coworkers and more to the event are crucial in changing the lives of our most vulnerable population.
Being a Table Host is free, as are all guests, due to generous Business Partners covering all the event expenses. This means that 100% of the proceeds will go to programs that help abused and neglected children in the Pikes Peak Region!
As a Table Host, we ask you to fill a table of 8, including yourself, with friends or colleagues who are interested in learning more about CASA and are willing to consider making a contribution to support the mission. We encourage you to reach out to a few extra guests, due to possible cancellations, to ensure a full table on the day of the event. If more than 8 guests register, we can accommodate them at a table adjacent to yours.

Light of Hope North Fundraiser Lunch Event Details
When:
Tuesday, October 17, 2023, 12:30 - 1:30 pm
Doors open at 12 pm
Where:
Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings, 12375 Black Forest Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80908
- Guests will be in and out in one hour - 12:30 to 1:30 pm
- Please encourage guests to arrive at 12 pm for parking and check-in.
- There is no cost to host a table or attend the event, so it is free for all attendees.
- Near the end of the fundraising event, guests will have an opportunity to make a heartfelt donation to support CASA programs for abused and neglected children.
- 100% of your donation made at the event will go directly toward CASA’s programs in the Pikes Peak Region.
- This year’s presentation will highlight a real story of a father who, with the help of his CASA volunteer, turned his life around to regain custody of his children.
- Parking is free at Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings. If overflow parking is needed, someone will direct you where to go.
Table Host Information
Recruiting Guests for your Table
- Make a list of friends, family, and/or business associates who may have an interest in CASA’s mission.
- Try to overfill your table to ensure a full table on the day of the event due to possible cancellations. If more than six people show up, we will seat them at adjacent tables.
- Begin inviting guests using the sample script provided at the bottom of this page.
- Gather your guest's information, including full name, phone, email, and if your guest has any dietary restrictions.
- Transfer the collected information, including your overfill guests, into the online guest registration form here before October 9th, 2023.
One Week Before (week of October 9th)
- Call each of your guests to remind them about the event and confirm event details.
- Encourage your guests to arrive at 12 pm for parking and check-in.
- If someone cannot attend, please try to refill their seat and let the CASA office know of the change.
Week of Event (week of October 16th)
- If you have a cancellation and can fill the seat, ask the new attendee to give the non-attending person’s name or your name the day of the event.
- If you have a cancellation and are not able to fill the seat, please inform staff the day of the event.
Day of Event (Tuesday, October 17th)
- Arrive at 11:45 am, 15 minutes prior to registration opening, to pick up your Table Host packet at the Table Host Check In table. Please let staff know at this time if any of your guests are not coming.
- Greet your guests at your table and record table attendance.
- If any guests had indicated special dietary requirements, give them the meal ticket from your packet.
- Encourage dialogue with your guests about CASA, if they have been involved before, etc.
- Please wait for instructions near the end of the program to hand out pledge cards. The speaker will let you know when to pass out the pledge cards, envelopes, and pens from your packet.
- Place your pledge card and your guest's completed pledge cards in the envelope in your packet.
- Return your packet to the volunteers standing at the door as you leave.
One Week after the Event
- Personally call all your guests and thank them for supporting CASA

Hello ,
I hope you are having a great day! I’m excited to share with you that I am hosting a lunch table for CASA of the Pikes Peak Region’s 12th Annual Light of Hope North Fundraiser Lunch on Tuesday, October 17th, at Black Forest at Wedgewood Weddings and would like for you to attend as my guest.
This is a sponsored, one-hour fundraising lunch benefiting CASA, an organization that is dear to me because they serve our most vulnerable population: abused and neglected children in our community. CASA will share a story about how their work changes lives for the better and you will have an opportunity to make a gift in support of their mission. 100% of all of the proceeds will stay right here in the Pikes Peak Region.
