Quarter 3, 2021: News and Updates for CASA Donors

Letter from the Executive Director

Dear CASA Donors:

I hope you and your families are enjoying a relaxing summer. Summer is proving to be a promising time for CASA as our staff have returned to the office and we look forward to hosting more gatherings and in-person meetings with our partners and constituents.

Dependency and Neglect cases entering CASA's program are still well above the pre-pandemic average. As the COVID-19 cloud lifts, we are grateful to see CASA emerging with the stability and strength needed to continue meeting this increased demand.

Our Month of Hope fundraiser (which you may recall replaced our in-person Light of Hope fundraiser this year) was a great success. We raised over $173,000 when our goal was $144,000. We could not be more grateful to our supporters for making possible all we have accomplished for children before, during, and after the pandemic.

As we look forward to the future, we will target efforts towards our 2025 strategic plan which will provide the sustainability to serve 100% of children in need by focusing on the following four pillars: inclusion, messaging, partnership, and stewardship.

Thank you for your commitment to the children of the Pikes Peak Region!

Warmly,

Angela

Vanguard Skins Specialists rolled out the red carpet for CASA

Long-time CASA volunteer Jane Hegstrom first visited the dermatology practice Vanguard Skin Specialists back in 2016. She was impressed with the service she received but what she didn’t know is that the budding relationship would blossom into a powerful partnership for CASA.
