Dear CASA Donors: Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed a restful and joyful holiday season. CASA is halfway through our fiscal year and as of Dec. 31, we have served 500 children through our Dependency & Neglect Program. I wanted to take a moment to illustrate the point that sometimes, very simple actions can make a huge difference. For people who voted in last year's Scheel's giving campaign, nominating our nonprofit took about 60 seconds. Because enough people took that 60 seconds out of their day - we received one of the highest numbers of votes and a check for $5,000. That money will provide an advocate to four children. Another simple way to make a huge difference is to list CASA as your nonprofit of choice in the King Soopers Community Rewards program.
